From 28 to 30 October, Christian education professionals from various European countries and beyond gathered in Apeldoorn for the ECCEN 2026 Conference. Centered on the theme Seek the PEACE of the City, the conference focused on fellowship, reflection, and the exchange of ideas.
During presentations among others by Luc Bussière, Roger Kiska, and Prof. J. Hoek, participants reflected on the history and future of Europe, the significance of Christian values in education, and our calling to contribute to shalom in society. The conference also provided opportunities to share experiences and developments from different countries, connect with one another through workshops, and discuss the strategic presence of Christian education across Europe.
It was a valuable opportunity to encourage one another, gain new insights, and strengthen our shared commitment to Christian education.
