In our Christmas greeting video, a special choir made up of students and colleagues of Driestar Christian University for Teacher Education sings the beautiful hymn “In de nacht gekomen” (“He Came in the Night”), a song written by André F. Troost for the Christmas season, set to the well-known melody of In the Bleak Midwinter.
We are living in the final days of Advent. Next week it will be Christmas, when we may celebrate the coming of Jesus to this earth. In our Christmas video, colleagues and students bear witness to this. God Himself came to this earth to bring joy, peace, and salvation to all who believe in Him. Oh, eternal wonder!
With gratitude, we look back on the past year, in which we as Driestar Christian University for Teacher Education were able to serve education, families, church, and society. God cared for us—through all the challenges and storms that came upon Christian education. We look forward to committing ourselves again in the coming year to our calling: forming, educating, and equipping Christian professionals for good education and appropriate youth care.
