International Class 2025: Exploring Christian Education Together

This year we look forward to welcoming six international students, alongside eight of our fourth-year teacher training students. Together, they will spend the coming months exploring the theme of Christian education.

The participants come from Nepal, South Korea, Burkina Faso, and Ukraine. Over the course of three months, they will engage in dialogue about education and teaching, sharing experiences and perspectives across cultures. Such exchanges not only broaden horizons but also help students gain deeper insight into their own educational practices.

The International Class brings together students from Driestar Christian University for Teacher Education and participants from around the world. This unique combination of backgrounds creates a rich learning environment in which all students can learn from one another.

The program is intentionally international, with a strong focus on Christian education. The theme is explored in modules on the history of Christian educational thought in a global perspective, the biblical worldview and Christian spirituality, and the practice of Christian teaching in the classroom.
